Tour Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Muscat

Arrival at Muscat International Airport with airport pickup at.

After arrival, the schedule is flexible depending on your energy level. You may choose to relax at your hotel or enjoy a traditional Omani meal at Rozna Restaurant or another recommended restaurant.

Overnight stay in Muscat.

Day 2 – Wadi Shab Adventure & Coastal Drive

Drive along the scenic coast to Wadi Shab (approximately 1 hour 45 minutes).

Enjoy an easy-to-moderate hike through the canyon.

           45 minutes walk into the wadi

           Swimming time in the beautiful pools

           45 minutes return hike

After the hike, visit the famous Bimmah Sinkhole, a natural turquoise water pool perfect for photos.

Continue to the coastal city of Sur.

Overnight stay in Sur.

Day 3 – Sur, Wadi Bani Khalid & Wahiba Sands Desert

Morning exploration of Sur, including the traditional dhow boat yard and the lighthouse in Al Ayjah.

Drive inland to the stunning oasis of Wadi Bani Khalid, known for its clear blue pools surrounded by palm trees.

Continue to the desert of Wahiba Sands for a true desert experience. Optional activities include camel riding or dune bashing.

After the desert experience, drive through Birkat Al Mouz before heading up to the mountains of Jebel Akhdar.

Overnight stay in Jebel Akhdar.

Day 4 – Jebel Akhdar, Nizwa & Jebel Shams

Explore the villages and viewpoints of Jebel Akhdar, famous for its terraces and mountain scenery.

Drive to Nizwa to visit the historic Nizwa Fort and the traditional souq.

Continue to the mountain village of Misfat Al Abriyeen, known for its mud houses and falaj irrigation system.

Then drive to Jebel Shams, the highest mountain in Oman.

Overnight stay at Jebel Shams.

Day 5 – Grand Canyon of Oman & Historic Forts

Morning exploration of Jebel Shams, often called the Grand Canyon of Oman due to its dramatic cliffs.

Drive to Bahla to visit the UNESCO-listed Bahla Fort.

Optional visit to the beautiful Jabrin Castle.

Return to Muscat. If time allows, explore Muttrah Souq.

Overnight stay in Muscat.

Day 6 – Muscat City Tour & Departure

Discover the highlights of Muscat, including:

 Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque

 Royal Opera House Muscat

 National Museum of Oman

After the city tour, transfer to Muscat International Airport for departure.

End of tour.
